Italian Ambassador in a visit to the Minister of Communications, Government of Accord
His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Italy on Sunday morning, 6-23-2019, visited the Ministry of Communications, where he met with the Minister of Communications Plenipotentiary and Chairman and members of the Libyan side of the Libyan-Italian Joint Committee charged with following up the project of the implementation of the new road Amasad – Ras Ajdir, which comes within the friendship agreement Between Libya and Italy.
The meeting focused on discussing how to solve the obstacles facing the implementation of the project in all its aspects and the Italian and Libyan sides and the need to find the necessary solutions to enable the contracted companies to implement part or parts of the project to start implementation as well as take the necessary measures to contract the implementation of the rest of the sectors and what it requires Designs and procedures for the tender project, as the project is dealt with on different sectors, which are four sectors ready for implementation, only one sector, while the rest of the sectors need to address all the issues related to the delivery of the stage of contracting with specialized companies and To begin implementation. The Ambassador pledged to do what is necessary with the Italian government to empower both sides
The Italian and Libyan Commission will meet soon and help overcome difficulties in the Commission’s work and project implementation.
